McDonalds Monopoly 2021
McDonalds Monopoly is an annual campaign that in recent years has shifted it’s focus heavily on it’s digital delivery. Offering a 3D world for players to explore, play games, and win prizes. 1 in 10 Australians downloaded the app and the McDonald’s customer database doubled to over 3 million, making it their most successful promotion of all-time.
My role on the project was to rebuild the Unity architecture to make room for a larger world, and to build a development environment that would allow the easy addition of more games in the future. Additionally I lead the 3D team and Unity programmers while assisting in the development of multiple games, and augmented reality component.
